Service description

Xpensight provides receipt storage and scanning, transaction tracking, Malaysian tax-relief readiness tools, smart review, reports, and optional Google Drive backup or export features. Features may change as the service develops.

Tax and financial information

Xpensight is a record-keeping and reference tool, not a tax, accounting, legal, investment, or financial adviser. Categories, relief eligibility, claimable amounts, limits, estimates, and reports may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not official LHDN determinations. You remain responsible for checking your records, eligibility, supporting documents, filing position, and applicable rules, and should seek qualified professional advice where needed.

Your account and responsibilities

• Use the service lawfully, provide accurate information, and keep your account and sign-in credentials secure.
• Review scanned, extracted, suggested, and imported information before relying on or exporting it.
• Maintain any additional copies of records you need and comply with retention or filing obligations that apply to you.
• Do not upload illegal, infringing, malicious, or harmful material, or information you do not have the right to process.
• Do not misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt unauthorised access to the service or another user’s data.

Your content and permission to process it

You retain ownership of receipts, transaction information, and other content you submit. You grant Xpensight and its service providers a limited permission to host, copy, transmit, process, display, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, comply with law, and follow choices you make in the service.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Receipt storage, access, and deletion

Receipts stored by Xpensight are not publicly accessible. Authorised personnel and service providers may access or process them only as described in the Privacy Policy, including where reasonably necessary for requested support, service operation, security, misuse prevention, or legal compliance.

When you delete a Xpensight-stored receipt, its file and thumbnail are removed from active receipt storage, subject to limited residual retention described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for separately deleting any additional copy in Google Drive. No storage system is guaranteed to be error-free or permanently available, so keep independent copies of records that you are legally or practically required to retain.

Google Drive integration

Google Drive is optional. If you enable it, you authorise Xpensight to access the relevant Google Drive files and permissions to provide the backup or export you request. You can revoke access through Google, but revocation or disconnection does not automatically delete files already created in your Drive. Your use of Google Drive is also subject to Google’s terms and policies.

Plans and payments

Xpensight may offer a free plan, paid plans, or promotional access. The price, billing period, included access, renewal terms, and any applicable cancellation terms will be presented before purchase. Except where required by law or stated at purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party infrastructure and may link to or interoperate with third-party services. Xpensight is not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their independent terms and practices.

Service availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, impose reasonable usage or storage limits, or perform maintenance. We will provide notice where reasonably appropriate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Xpensight at any time and may request account deletion where available. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a terms violation, security or legal risk, non-payment, misuse, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xpensight is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees, rights, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xpensight will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or loss of profits, opportunity, goodwill, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post updated terms on this page, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any mandatory rights or jurisdictional protections available to you remain unaffected.
